Wristbands can be reserved by calling The Dunes at (269) 857-1401 or purchased at the front desk when you arrive in June.

Most rooms at The Dunes have been booked for this weekend, however, it's worth checking back throughout the next few months to see if there have been cancellations. Call the The Dunes at (269) 857-1401 to find out about cancellations.

You can still attend by staying elsewhere. See other lodging options below.

Pines Motor Lodge
Blue Star Motel
The Kirby Hotel

CampIt - queer campground located 15 minutes from the Dunes

This year, we’re joined by NYC's Fatherhood, the DJ duo comprised of Physical Therapy and Michael Magnan. Check out their jacking house set from 2021's Honcho Campout to catch the vibe.

A queer underground veteran and founder of Atlanta's Deep South party, Vicki Powell returns to the Dunes to bring her soulful energy to the tea dance on Sunday.

Oscar Pineda, aka Dick Dream, has been DJing since he first arrived in San Francisco in 2010. As one of the owners of beloved queer San Francisco institution, The Stud, he has worked hard for many years to keep queer nightlife alive in the city he loves. Blending genres like 90’s acid, freestyle, techno, and breakbeats, he knows how to get a party started and keep it going even after the club.

Leaving his mark on Chicago, Janky has helped bring house and tech music to Boystown with a residency at Hydrate. After teaching himself how to DJ in his early 20’s, Janky has developed a unique sound in minimal/deep tech/techno and tribal rhythms while staying true to the soul of house music.

Harry Cross started DJing and producing parties when he co-founded the legendary Men's Room function in 2013. He has soundtracked queer undergrounds and sex clubs in Chicago ever since. He currently throws the daytime Overly Dramatic party and the late night Witch Finger raves. He’s a resident at SmartBar and Friday night selector at Steamworks Baths.

Food is available to order from Blue Frog at The Dunes Resort by calling (269) 857-1401 ext 143. The kitchen closes at 5pm everyday so be sure to bring extra food for your room (most rooms are equipped with mini-fridges).

There’s a Supervalu grocery store located in walking distance from The Dunes at 237 W. Center Street. Check out this site for restaurants in the area.

Weed is sold recreationally in Michigan and there’s a weed store, Green Koi, located right next door to the Dunes.

Pack your best look or stunt and enter the Miss Loosends pageant on Sunday (4pm) at the pool.

The pageant will begin with a walk off of each contestant, followed by a Q&A, and then the top 3 finalists will have a dance off. This is a chance for attendees to take the stage.

The pageant will be judged by previous Miss Loosends winners and any queer person watching.

The winner of the Miss Loosends pageant will receive a Miss Loosends crown and sash, a $60 bar tab, weed from Green Koi, and exclusive rights to call yourself Miss Loosends throughout 2023, after that you must stop and never speak of it again.

You can sign up for the pageant at the front desk when you arrive or at the pool party on Saturday.
